Information: Winner of a prestigious Civic Trust Commendation in 2008, Friary Court, is an excellent example of a private inner-city housing development. Designed to evoke a monastic courtyard, the wedge shaped plan encourages focus on the nearby church of St Francis. There is no access to the housing, however the project architect, Chris Simmonds of Page/Park, will talk about the development at 11.00am on Saturday 20th September.
