A feast of locally grown food, horticulture, music and crafts. Possilpark is home to 2 community food growing projects, with 40 local food growers. This Harvest festival is a celebration of all they have grown!

The Harvest Festival will be jam packed with all things local. Enjoy freshly baked scones made with eggs from Possilparks own Hens, smothered in garden harvest jams. Savor our delicious soups, fresh from garden to pot in one day. Sample our garden grown chutneys, complimented by a selection of Scotlands finest cheeses. Spice things up with some garden vegetable pakora, with home made tomato, coriander and chili sauce. Tuck into a roll n home made Tattie Scone with garden tomato sauce. We either grow or source locally grown produce for all the food at our Harvest Festival. On top of the culinary feast will be a feast for the senses. Local musicians and performers will entertain you while a team of creative geniuses will deliver a wide range of free workshops for all the family, we will have lotions and potions: making your own foot soaks and scrubs; re-craft textile: old T-shirts into shopping bags; Eco arts for the kids: Odd sock monsters and litter bug magnets; autumn and winter horticulture surgery: tip for the coming season and we may even have some weird science in the garden! watch this space.  Our annual Harvest Festival is FREE and open to all, the only requiremtn for entry is a smile and and appetite.
