James Miller, 1904-5, 1922; Bill Hunter, 1970
Category B Listed
This lovely sandstone church built in 1905, has recently had major stonework repairs to enable the work of the congregation to be maintained into the 21st century. Marvel at the beautiful stained glass and fine organ. Performances planned throughout the weekend.
When you visit our lovely building we intend to experience the warm welcome we give to all those who enter our building. members will be available to show you the major features of our building and we hope tp entertain you with music provided by our choirs under the direction of Alan Tavener. In our halls you will be provided with tea and biscuits by our social committee. There will also be an exhibition about the History of our church and community. We have been working closely with Jordanhill School over many years and we will be asking the school to contribute to our open days with performances, exhibits about local history and art work.
We would hope that many people from within and outwith our parish ,who are unfamiliar with our building, will see this as an opportunity to enter the building and appreciate the beauty of its architecture- our magnificent roof, the memorial windows, the hall built in tribute to those who served in World War One and our fine organ.
We look forward to welcoming visitors to our building conveniently located close to Jordanhill Station and bus routes along Crow Road.
