This year we are partnering with Glorious Glasgow Photographer, Duncan McEwan to offer a series of FREE photography workshops in the lead up to Doors Open Day. Our aim is to to give you the opportunity to discover your hidden talent, learn about basic photography techniques and explore a variety of areas of Glasgow using these.

As part of Glasgow Doors Open Day there will also be a few photography focused walking tours. Keep your eye on the programme (released early August) and you can find out how to join them.
Shortly we will also be uploading an online resource that will give some top tips when photographing architecture and landscapes.
Did you know that every year Glasgow Doors Open Day runs a photography competition so that you can enter and share your photos of the City. More details will be announced in the lead up to the festival. To be kept in the loop why not join the Doors Open Day mailing list of the right hand side of this page.
A wonderful idea that I hope continues for many years to come. As a photographer, it allows access to some wonderful venues and really explore the history and architectural achievements of Glasgow. Long may it extend to more venues each year; 2014 Visitor
