Creative Planning Workshop 2016
Doors Open Days Festival: Creative Planning Workshop 20th January 2016
The Lighthouse, 4th Floor Gallery
The 27th Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival, celebrating and promoting the citys built environment, architecture and heritage, will be running 12-18 September 2016. If you want to be involved in the programme, or would like to find out more about how it all works, come along to the Creative Planning Workshop at the Lighthouse on 20th January.
The aim of the Creative Planning Workshop is to give anyone the chance to find out exactly how the Festival works, learn how to apply to be part of it, gain insight into plans for 2016, meet other building owners, artists, tour leaders, speakers, event organisers and gain insight into how we did in the 2015 Festival. We will support you so that you can make the most of participating in DODF 2016.
What to expect
Start at 1pm and finish at 4pm (refreshments provided)
About 60 potential participants (including buildings, walk leaders, speakers, performers)
Presentations on how to get involved, the results of the 2015 Festival and themes for 2016
Information on the Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design as well as the Festival of Architecture
Workshops focusing on how you can effectively engage with the Doors Open Days Festival and how to develop your ideas
We strongly recommend that anyone hoping to be involved in the 2016 Festival try to attend.
