Craigholme is the top independent girls school in the West of Scotland, consisting of four Victorian villas and a state of the art Sports Complex. See how they have adapted these buildings and get an insight into its 121 year history.

Craigholme School was founded in 1894 by Mrs Jessie Murdoch, a truly inspiration and pioneering woman who was far ahead of her time. Consisting of four Victorian villas and a state of the art Sports Complex, Craigholme enables pupils to achieve academic and extra-curricular excellence within a beautiful setting.

Our knowledgeable staff will be on hand throughout the building to give an insight into the history of this key part of Pollokshields’ heritage school and its 121 year history.

Come and see how we’ve adapted these beautiful, historic buildings into a thriving, modern-day school.

Part of the Childrens Programme: For our younger visitors, we will have fun quizzes on the history of Craigholme School and a treasure hunt they can take part in around the school.
