East End Shuttle Bus
Discover festival has arranged a Free Shuttle bus service that runs from the front of the City Chambers at George Square to and from Provan Hall.
Bus running Saturday & Sunday:
- From George Square at 10am, 11am, 12noon, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm
- From Provan Hall at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm & 4pm
Castlemilk Shuttle Bus
Cassilton Housing Association have provided a free bus service to take passengers to the multi-award winning Stables builting with one of the best views of Glasgow and Clyde Valley en route. Journey time is approximately 20 minutes. Please arrive in good time to board.
Bus running Saturday:
- From George Square at 9.45am, 12.45pm & 2.45pm
- From Castlemilk Stables at 11am, 2.05pm & 4pm
Bus running Sunday:
- From George Square at 10.45am & 12.30pm
- From Castlemilk Stables at 12noon & 2pm
City Sightseeing Glasgow Bus Tour
On Saturday 21st September a Special City Centre Bus Tour will take place for just £4. Why not use this as a method of transport to the surrounding buildings. See the tour page for more details.
Glasgow Canal Water Taxi now fully booked
On Saturday 21st September, Jump on the Glasgow Canal Water Taxi at either Applecross Street or Lambhill Stables and enjoy a fascinating boat trip. Stops will be made at the basin near Firhill Road, the pontoon at Ruchill Street bridge where you are welcome to hop off. You will be able to visit buildings included in the programme such as Lambhill Stables, Mackintosh Church, The Whisky Bond and Maryhill Burgh Halls.
