An inspirational and award-winning landmark in central Easterhouse, comprising 4 integrated facilities in a contemporary and barrier-free environment: John Wheatley College; Glasgow Life Library and Learning Centre; Glasgow Club pool/leisure suite and Platform arts venue & cafe.
Designed by Gareth Hoskins architects The Bridge, home to Platform, is Glasgows most aspirational venue for the arts. Offering a year round performance and exhibition programme, weekly participation workshops in drama, music and visual art and with comprehensive education and outreach strands, Platform serves both the local community of Easterhouse and the wider Glasgow City area.
Join us for a back stage tour to learn more about this unique building and gain an insight into working in a modern arts space before visiting The Bridge Cafe Bar to sample barista coffee, fresh deli food and delicious baked treats.
Just for Kids
Regular activity taking place Play at Platform pass for £5 to take part in kids Drama for 5-7yr (11am – 12pm) and Kids Arts Club (12pm – 1.30pm) or individually £3 per session. This is available Sat 21 Sept only. Booking encouraged but not essential – Platform box office 0141 276 9696 (option 1)
