Pollokshaws West Railway Station is important as the oldest surviving railway station building in operation in Glasgow. Recently refurbished by GBPT, now a base for South West Community Cycles.
Inspired by Scotrails Adopt a Station initiative, Glasgow Building Preservation Trust have developed Pollokshaws West Railway Station for a number of years with the restauration successfully completed in May 2013.
The buildings have been converted into a resource centre for South West Community Cycles providing affordable bike related services including cycle hire and repair, activities and an information centre.
